Wilfred Willis Lund was born on 5/6/1904 at 14, Smith Street, Barnoldswick in the West Riding of Yorkshire. He was the first born child of Joseph Lund, a Cotton weaver (1881-1940) and Eva Lund nee Woffenden (1885-1933)

Wilfred Willis Lund would only live to the age of 8 months and passed on 4/2/1905 at 48, Townhead in Barnoldswick with the cause of death being certified by the family doctor as Bronchitis and Whooping Cough.

The family would go on to raise five other children in the future; Joseph Richard Lund 1904, Horace Lund 1908, Myra May Lund 1910 and Elsie Lund 1915. Sadly the family would suffer further loss with the passing of Joseph Richard Lund aged 10 months and Wilfred Lund aged just 6 months.
With the exception of Horace, who is interred in a separate grave within this cemetery along with his wife, are remembered in this grave.
Wilfred Willis is however interred in a separate children's grave along with five other infants. This grave is located just up the hill and down the path to the right just beyond the back of the building. What3words reference; "sage.lectured.ironic"
