Joseph Richard Lund was born on 15/5/1906 at 48, Townhead, Barnoldswick in the West Riding of Yorkshire. He was the second born child of Joseph Lund, a Cotton weaver (1881-1940) and Eva Lund nee Woffenden (1885-1933)
Joseph Richard Lund would only live to the age of 10 months and passed on 21/5/1907 at 48, Townhead in Barnoldswick with the cause of death being certified by the family doctor as Teething, Inflamation of the Lungs and Convusions
The family would go on to raise four other children in the future; Horace Lund 1908, Myra May Lund 1910 and Elsie Lund 1915. Sadly the family had already suffered a great loss with the passing of their first born child Wilfred Willis in 1905 at just 6 months of age and the family would go on to mourn another son Wilfred when he passed in 1912
With the exception of Horace, who is interred in a separate grave within this cemetery along with his wife and Wilfred Willis .who is interred in a separate children's grave along with five other infants.
